No action....maybe, maybe not...

Hello fellow bloggers!

Well, the little girl does not seem to be visiting us much lately. We did however, have a couple of small things happen this week that are worth noting, if only just for documentation purposes before they leave my mind (those of you who know me know my memory is TERRIBLE). So, here goes.

On Wednesday night, I woke up at precisely 3:01 am, the witching hour so to speak. Why is it always at 3? I don't usually wake up a lot during other hours, but it always seems to be around 3 O'Clock. Anyone else have this experience? Haunted house or not? Because I would like to know. Is this something that many people experience or just me?

I have always thought that perhaps I am in tune to my "6th sense". I was born in October, just before Halloween on the 27th. I am a Scorpio and I hear that many of us are sensitives. I heed my internal warnings a lot. Many times, I think about things before they happen. Could this be my gift?

That happened just this week. Will had to take a trip to Zuni, NM for work. He had to leave I think at 11pm on Wednesday night to go get his work truck and be there by 5am to work. I kept telling him "Drive safe home, be careful" over and over again. To the point where I was actually asking myself why I was telling him that when I had already told him enough. But I started thinking "What if he has an accident, all for work?" It would not be worth it!

Anyway, he called me at work later that morning and was freaked out. He was driving through Heber (which is in the forest up in Northern Arizona) and he saw a bunch of Elk on the side of the road. One of them  jumped out into the road in front of him and he had to swerve to avoid hitting it. He said the thing was huge. He said it was a male buck with a huge rack and that he is positive that if he would have hit it, it would have killed him.

Getting so freaked out, he stopped at the next Circle K that he saw. When he told the lady at the counter his story, she told him that an hour earlier, a man came stumbling in who had hit one, totaled his F250 and killed the Elk. He had walked there from the accident. She apparently had to call the paramedics as he was cut, bruised, had a broken arm and was still shaking glass off of him. Now that really freaked him out!

I figured perhaps it was because Will did not really know how big Elk are that it freaked him out. I think he thought Elk were maybe just a little bit bigger than a deer. Truth is, they are probably more comparable to a moose.

Anyway, switching the subject, later this week Will woke up one morning and asked me if I had put his phone on his chest. I told him no, when I borrow his work phone, I always return it to his side of the coffee table where I always do. He often times falls a sleep on the couch and leaves his phone right on the coffee table so that the alarm will wake him up. He has been doing this for the past 4 years and has never faltered.

I guess what woke him up was the feeling of something "crawling" down his shoulder to his chest. It was his phone slowly sliding down the front of him. He had thought that I had put the phone on his chest? NOT. He does not remember waking up and using the phone or checking the phone at all.

I asked him how it was that it was sliding down his chest. If you are laying flat, isn't your chest also flat? So how was it that it was sliding? I guess we both are wondering...did the little girl do it?

You tell me.

Last but not least, last night I was cooking dinner for Willie and I. He was going to work late so I figured I would whip up some dinner and get my mom's birthday cake cooked. My friend Miranda gave us a wonderful recipe for her "dump soup", so I decided I would make that and that way I could freeze some and take it to my mom for later this week.

Dump soup requires ground turkey and whatever veggies you wanna throw in the pot. I was cutting up celery, onions, carrots & potatoes. While I was doing this, I accidentally hit my cutting board and a few potato pieces flew to the floor. Of course I bent over and picked them up.

After cutting up all the vegetables, I left kitchen and walked around the breakfast bar to go out back to smoke and started cleaning up out there. A while later I came back in to get a trash bag and right in the middle of the kitchen were two more pieces of potato. I was shocked. I am not blind and there is no way that I could have missed picking them up. I could not have walked right over them to go outside, could I have? I mean, they were plain as day, right there. Anyway, I was just boggled by this. So much so that I am writing about it now.

Opinion here people - do ghosts do stuff like this to make you think you are losing your mind? Or am I really going blind and losing my mind?

Until next time, be safe and sleep with the lights ON.
