So, I am a bit late with this one but have not been online much lately. After we had the incident with the stereo, we had a few other instances with electrical items over the next few days.
That same night while Will was sleeping and Allie and I were in the living room, the power started to go out in the whole house twice. It basically powered down for a few seconds and then powered back up. There did not seem to be any logical explanation for it - no power outages, no storms. I even though perhaps we were running to much electricity and perhaps were overloading the breaker, but looking around all we had on was the kitchen light, the TV and this computer. Not enough in my opinion to blow a breaker.
Then a bit later, I went outside to smoke and noticed my car lights were on. The weird thing about that is I have automatic lights that power off after I have been out of the car for a few seconds. I literally have not turned the lights on or off in the car in about EVER.
I proceeded to walk over to my car, opened the door and flipped both the light switch, the dimming roller and the light buttons on the bottom of my rear-view mirror, just to make sure everything was in the correct position. Then I went and sat back down.
I did this three times and each time, the lights stayed on. Finally I went into the house, got my keys and started the car, then turned it off and waited to see if they would finally go off. As it turns out, they did.
Now I don't know anything about ghosts and electricity, and I am curious if they actually have been known to manifest in this way on a consistent basis in some instances. Maybe she was trying to make her presence known in a different way? Could it be that she has sent us subtle hints of her existence these past few weeks that we have missed during 'quiet times' when we think she has been lying low?
Another weird incident worth noting here happened on the very next night. Again, Will and I were out front sitting in our favorite chairs and I excused myself to go to the restroom. When I returned, Will was a little freaked out. Our neighbor has 3 cats (which I can't stand) and the big orange guy was sprinting from the far side of our driveway to the other side of our yard where his yard and house begin. Will says he was at a dead run when he stopped right in the middle of the sidewalk in front of our two front bedroom windows and hissed at our house!
It may be worth noting that while we have been outside and heard things inside the house that seem to come from out of the blue, I have never really noticed things happening outside of the house itself until the car lights and the cat incidents this past week. I wonder how many ghosts actually travel both inside and outside of various buildings or if they do at all.
If anyone has any suggestions or thoughts about these subjects, please leave me a note. I would love to hear some thoughts!

In Stereo
Not a lot of activity happening around here lately. Bums me out cause I wish I could post more!
We did have two incidents last week of our little dog Marley barking into the darkness. One night it was the usual deep in the chest growling with a little bark here and there looking up that always dark hallway.
The other one was out back on our porch. Now she could have easily seen a cat, but cats would have split the minute she started barking. She was going off that night like no other time before. Marley is a really quit dog and only barks when she hears something or sees something and only for a minute or two. She has never barked for an extended 5+ minutes consistently. That particular night she kept on and on with the persistent barking into the corner of the back yard. And this was not a little bark or growl in the chest. It was a full blown persistent barking, like she would do if someone were breaking into our house that she did not know. Anyway, not real sure what caused all the racket outside, but I am pretty sure I know what caused the incident down the hallway.
One other what I would consider 'major' thing happened to Will this morning. When I got out of the shower and was dressed for work, I went out side to smoke with him before leaving. He proceeded to tell me that the stereo right next to the TV (in the living room) he was watching turned itself on while I was showering. He said at first he was confused because with the TV and the stereo on, he thought maybe two of the TV stations had become 'squashed' together. I assume that means he thought the stations got their wires crossed or something. He said it took him to realize that one was the stereo and then he was really confused! He saw the lights on the meters of the stereo going up and down and heard music coming from one of our daughters type radio stations. He could not believe it had done it right when he was sitting there watching it (basically).
Anyway, this has been bothering him all day long. He kept brushing it off as perhaps the stereo has a timer in it that accidentally came on or something. He has been meaning to ask our daughter if she knew if the stereo had an alarm or a timer or something on it, but she has not bee around today. I told him that if it did, we would have accidentally probably hit it at another point in time over the past two years that we have had the stereo. We bought it new and I would think we would know if it had an alarm clock in it.
No explanation for this one at all. The appliances around here have not just turned themselves on before. Or not that I know of or have realized at the time anyway.
Anyone else ever had an experience with appliances or electrical problems that are unexplainable? I would like to hear about them if you have, cause I just can't seem to get my head around this one.
Until next time :)

Unexplainable Scratch
Hello Ghost Hunting fans!
I finally have something to report from this past week. Let me just start by saying that earlier in the week, I stopped by the library to pick up a book for the upcoming classes offered this next semester. My co-worker Beth and I had decided that we wanted to take a jewelry making class.
Looking through the new catalog, I found this class of interest. WOW! Really? Offered through the library and taught by Arizona's Ghost Hunting experts themselves. Cool, huh?
Anyway, I had the catalog in my car when I got home from work. After I changed clothes and started relaxing a bit, Will asked me to come sit out front, he wanted to tell me a story. So we went out front, sat in our chairs and I settled in with a beer and a smoke for his story.
Will had gotten off work by noon, had done a little cleaning around the house and then sat down to watch some TV. He proceeded to tell me that while he was watching TV, he felt someone tug on the left sleeve of his t-shirt. At first he thought it was our dog Marley, perhaps pulling it with her mouth. But then he realized that Marley was laying down on the right side of him down the couch a bit resting.
It was shortly after this that he went to take a shower and noticed a scratch just to the right of his left eye. As we were talking, I asked him several questions about this. Did you get slightly hit with anything at work? Did you have something in your hand up by your face by chance? Was the dogs nails by your head at any point? The answers were all no. He said he simply noticed the scratch before his shower.
Now the weird thing is, Will gets lots of scratches on his hands, arms and legs at work. He is always got something going on and can always tell me how he got them. So for him to not be able to explain this one and it be on his face, that was just weird.
He also kept insisting I feel it. The weird thing is that this scratch was underneath the skin and not a scratch on top of the skin that would scab. More like a bruise underneath the skin only and not a surface injury. Of course, I just had to photograph it.
Now our ghost has never been violent, until of course the plate incident and now this. It makes me wonder if perhaps we have more than one? I am not sure. I really need to have someone come in I guess. But I am not sure if I have the balls to do that. I like the 'not knowing' and the mystery of our house. Perhaps digging that deep might just ruin it for us.
Anyway, it was here at this moment that I told Will it was real strange that he would mention these incidents, and I went and got the book for him to see the Ghost Hunting class.
Looks like next week we have 3 or 4 of us who will be attending. I can't wait! Especially since I have always been curious about that cemetary and Beth and I were just talking about it at work. It is literally just at the end of the street where we work.
Anyone else care to join us? Let me know!

Mysterious sounds
Sorry it's been a while since my last post. Not much has happened around here lately. It's been rather quiet.
I did have a few small notable things happen this week.
Earlier this week, I was getting ready for work and had just gotten out of the shower. I had left my alarm clock radio on and heard a song from the '80's that I knew. I swore I heard singing along that song coming from the bathroom on the other side, or perhaps even just out in the hallway. The thing is, my bathroom is in our 'library' that then goes into a second room that is our bedroom. The hallway door is off of the library and the bathrooms are back to back. So I could not explain how Allie could possible hear my radio loud enough to be singing along with the tunes? Of course the minute I opened the bathroom door to go look, the singing stopped.
I am curious to know how often things are heard vs seen from ghosties. Is it perhaps easier for them to manifest in sound than in actual sightings? Maybe it takes less energy or something. I don't know. I just know that we often times hear unexplainable sounds.
Last night we heard something else. We were again sitting out front in our chairs in front of Allie's window. We both heard what sounded to me like maybe a consecutive set of thumping. Willie swore it came from around the corner in the carport. I swore it came from behind us in Allie's room.
I immediately tried to replicate the noise by running my fingers down the shutter on the outside of the window. That's kind of the noise we heard. Or I should say that I heard. Will related his more to something else, although I can not remember what he said. Maybe something rolling down stairs? But we don't have any stairs. It was a quick, thump-thump-thump noise of about 5 repetitions.
My friend Beth has suggested I have someone come into the house and see what they feel about the house. I have been thinking about it. Perhaps a medium who is not told anything about what we experience. I just want to know what is here, if anything. I am hoping my mind is not playing nasty little tricks on me. Then again, I don't think others would be having experiences also. Thank god! I am too young to be going crazy already!
Anyone else ever hear noises that are unexplainable? Or have you stayed in a haunted house and heard or seen things. Give me your scoop! I would love to hear input :)
Hopefully we will have something more exciting happen soon. Until then, Tina out ~

Your opinion
Hello!
We had a wonderful weekend away from the house up at the lake enjoying the outside. Thursday night our friends came over to visit - one who was visiting from PA and our dog and house sitter, Logan.
As we were sitting out front talkin and enjoying a few beers, my husband asked Logan if honestly, in all the times he has stayed here if he had experienced anything weird in the house. Logan responded by saying on a couple of occassions, he has swore that he heard the click of a door lock. Not really the shutting of a door or anything he said, but just the *click* that is made like you were locking a deadbolt. That's weird. Never heard that one before.
Logan spent the night with us and fell a sleep on the couch. At 3:45am, I got up and came out into the living room to get some water. I saw how cute Marley looked cuddling up to him and had to take a photo. I only took one and this is what I caught.
Now to me this is strange. This was taken with a camera that I use every day and never have I gotten something like this. Also, there was no lights on and the camera just has an auto flash. When I was looking at the screen when I took the photo, this did not show up.
On closer zoom, I noticed that right at his throat there is and orb that seems to be duplicated and going right. It seems to get lighter.
I am wondering if anyone can tell me if they know what this might be. I am baffled but I think it's awfully weird that he was just talking about the strange happenings when we are not home and that I would catch this a few hours later, with an orb at his throat none the less. S-T-R-A-N-G-E.
Anyone? Comments?

No action....maybe, maybe not...
Hello fellow bloggers!
Well, the little girl does not seem to be visiting us much lately. We did however, have a couple of small things happen this week that are worth noting, if only just for documentation purposes before they leave my mind (those of you who know me know my memory is TERRIBLE). So, here goes.
On Wednesday night, I woke up at precisely 3:01 am, the witching hour so to speak. Why is it always at 3? I don't usually wake up a lot during other hours, but it always seems to be around 3 O'Clock. Anyone else have this experience? Haunted house or not? Because I would like to know. Is this something that many people experience or just me?
I have always thought that perhaps I am in tune to my "6th sense". I was born in October, just before Halloween on the 27th. I am a Scorpio and I hear that many of us are sensitives. I heed my internal warnings a lot. Many times, I think about things before they happen. Could this be my gift?
That happened just this week. Will had to take a trip to Zuni, NM for work. He had to leave I think at 11pm on Wednesday night to go get his work truck and be there by 5am to work. I kept telling him "Drive safe home, be careful" over and over again. To the point where I was actually asking myself why I was telling him that when I had already told him enough. But I started thinking "What if he has an accident, all for work?" It would not be worth it!
Anyway, he called me at work later that morning and was freaked out. He was driving through Heber (which is in the forest up in Northern Arizona) and he saw a bunch of Elk on the side of the road. One of them jumped out into the road in front of him and he had to swerve to avoid hitting it. He said the thing was huge. He said it was a male buck with a huge rack and that he is positive that if he would have hit it, it would have killed him.
Getting so freaked out, he stopped at the next Circle K that he saw. When he told the lady at the counter his story, she told him that an hour earlier, a man came stumbling in who had hit one, totaled his F250 and killed the Elk. He had walked there from the accident. She apparently had to call the paramedics as he was cut, bruised, had a broken arm and was still shaking glass off of him. Now that really freaked him out!
I figured perhaps it was because Will did not really know how big Elk are that it freaked him out. I think he thought Elk were maybe just a little bit bigger than a deer. Truth is, they are probably more comparable to a moose.
Anyway, switching the subject, later this week Will woke up one morning and asked me if I had put his phone on his chest. I told him no, when I borrow his work phone, I always return it to his side of the coffee table where I always do. He often times falls a sleep on the couch and leaves his phone right on the coffee table so that the alarm will wake him up. He has been doing this for the past 4 years and has never faltered.
I guess what woke him up was the feeling of something "crawling" down his shoulder to his chest. It was his phone slowly sliding down the front of him. He had thought that I had put the phone on his chest? NOT. He does not remember waking up and using the phone or checking the phone at all.
I asked him how it was that it was sliding down his chest. If you are laying flat, isn't your chest also flat? So how was it that it was sliding? I guess we both are wondering...did the little girl do it?
You tell me.
Last but not least, last night I was cooking dinner for Willie and I. He was going to work late so I figured I would whip up some dinner and get my mom's birthday cake cooked. My friend Miranda gave us a wonderful recipe for her "dump soup", so I decided I would make that and that way I could freeze some and take it to my mom for later this week.
Dump soup requires ground turkey and whatever veggies you wanna throw in the pot. I was cutting up celery, onions, carrots & potatoes. While I was doing this, I accidentally hit my cutting board and a few potato pieces flew to the floor. Of course I bent over and picked them up.
After cutting up all the vegetables, I left kitchen and walked around the breakfast bar to go out back to smoke and started cleaning up out there. A while later I came back in to get a trash bag and right in the middle of the kitchen were two more pieces of potato. I was shocked. I am not blind and there is no way that I could have missed picking them up. I could not have walked right over them to go outside, could I have? I mean, they were plain as day, right there. Anyway, I was just boggled by this. So much so that I am writing about it now.
Opinion here people - do ghosts do stuff like this to make you think you are losing your mind? Or am I really going blind and losing my mind?
Until next time, be safe and sleep with the lights ON.

An interesting post in my other blog
For those of you who might be interested in historical stories, I don't know of any 'ghosts' related to this chapel, however, there is a mystery behind it. It's worth the read! Please join me for another story at my other blog site:
